形態特徵

• Plants 20-45 cm tall. Corms whitish, ovoid or globose, 2-3 cm in diam., 3-4 noded, producing short fleshy roots from node.
• Leaves long petiolate, ovate-orbicular or broad cordate, 6-15 cm long, 8-18 cm long, rounded and apiculate at apex, cordate at base, palmately nerved, plicate, membranaceous, slightly wavy along margins; petiole 8-16 cm long, sulcate.
• Peduncle pale green, sometimes marked with purplish lines, 10-25 cm tall, ca. 3 mm in diam., with 2-3 sheaths below, sheaths tubular, greenish, with dark purplish stripes; rachis 8-16 cm long, usually with more than 8 flowers; bracts linear-lanceolate, 1.5-2.5 cm long, 2-3 mm wide, strongly reflexed; pedicel slender, 3-4 mm long; ovary enlarged, ellipsoid, 3-5 mm long, with sharp wavy ridges. Flowers pale green, not opening widely, more or less pendulous; sepals oblanceolate to linear-oblanceolate, 20-25 mm long, 2-4 mm wide, apex acute, lateral ones slightly oblique; petals linear or oblanceolate, 18-24 mm long, 2-2.5 mm wide, acute; lip white or yellowish white, with purplish lines, narrowed and incurved at base, 3-lobed at apex, 15-18 mm long, 8-10 mm wide near middle when expanded, side lobes triangular, 3 mm long, acute, midlobe ovate to ovatetriangular, 6-8 mm long, obtuse, with more or less crisped margins, disc with white hairs especially along veins; column clavate, 6-8 mm long, distinctly dilated at top; anther short cucullate, 1.8-2 mm tall; pollinia clavate, 1.5 mm long; stigma semiorbicular, concave; rostellum short ligulate, obtuse.

分布

• 台灣 : broadleaved forests at low elevations in the central and southern mountains.
• 世界 : Widely distributed from Japan, the Ryukyus, China, the Himalaya, India, Indochina, Thailand and the Philippines to Indonesia, Australia and Papua New Guinea.
